Aiya.. Why only implement now!
I was reading "Today", where i saw this article. Uniform = PE uniform = Uniform.
Alamak, why my alma mater only implement it in 2009. If only they had implemented it X years ago, i wouldn't have to wear 4 pieces of clothing in the morning when there is a PE lesson on that day.
First layer: Inner wear/Sports bra
Second layer: PE tee
Third layer: Blouse
Forth layer: Pinafore
Of course, as move on to the upper level, there is no risk of having heat stroke during assembly because we will change in the toilet. As you know, the teachers think that girls "stripping" the third and forth layer would be quite unsightly a bad habit to cultivate (?)
Oh well, wearing the pinafore isn't a bad thing anyway. At least the pinafore was quite unique because is chukulet brown in colour.... HAHA
I love CNY Movies
You can call me pro or call me crazy because i finished watching all 3 CNY launched movies in just 2 days.
In the particular order: The Wedding Game (CNY day 1), Love Matters (CNY day 2), All's Well End's Well (CNY day 2)
The Wedding Game
A glorious, delightful and touching romantic comedy that unveils the truths behind the year’s most anticipated celebrity wedding, THE WEDDING GAME begins when Jack (Christopher Lee) publicly proposes to Vikki (Fann Wong) during the live telecast of a regional awards show. Surprised but happy, Vikki accepts – much to the delight of the public who has been following and rooting for the two superstars’ much publicized romance.
What the public doesn't know is that the entire love affair is an elaborate and meticulously planned ruse designed to further the careers and fortunes of the two ‘lovebirds’ by their ambitious managers May and Tom. In reality, Jack has disliked Vikki from the first day they met and vice versa!
But through it all, the two stars keep up with the charade. Both of them are sure they have nothing to lose – not when they’ve signed a pre-nuptial agreement to protect themselves and their fortunes.
Just when everything is going so well, an incident rattled some of the fans and the media. There is doubt now lingering about the authenticity of this love match.
Love Matters
“Love Matters” is a humorous and entertaining look at love, happiness and issues concerning our straight laced society. It is full of trade-mark Jack Neo’s laugh-a-minute jokes and situations yet combined with a sensitive look at how we deal with issues concerning matters of the heart.
All's Well, End's Well
Kei's (Ronald Cheng) eldest sister Sandra (Sandra Ng) is a hot-tempered magazine editor and her temperament has left her single. One of the family rules is that none of the siblings can get married before their eldest sister. Kei seeks help from the famous Casanova, Koo Chai (Louis Koo), to pretend to court his eldest sister and lure her into the mood of love. With Sandra falling in love with Koo Chai, he in turn falls for another girl, Mun.
In the reverse order, the hongkie movie is a much more understandable and funny show. Jack neo's show was the typical very-funny-singapore-made-movie. The wedding game was really a omg movie, it was probably film for the sake of filming.. you know what i mean..

赤壁 II 决战天下
The first movie of the year: 赤壁 II 决战天下. Quite a great movie to start off with. At least i didn't doze off for a war / battle concept movie.
Bitter over an unforeseen defeat to rival states Shu and Wu, Cao Cao of the Wei Kingdom is confident that his million-man fleet will crush the under-manned alliance once and for all.
An epidemic and seasickness cripple Cao Cao's men, however, postponing D-day. Gen. Zhou Yu and strategist Zhuge Liang take the time to demoralize their enemy, and trick Cao Cao into practically giving them 100,000 arrows and even beheading his top generals.
Nevertheless, the allies are still seriously outnumbered and can only increase their chances of winning by attacking with fire. A northwester, however, compromises their plan, as the flames would blow back in their direction. Zhuge Liang, foreseeing an astronomical movement that will change the circumstances, urges the allies to postpone the attack. Meanwhile, Xiao Qiao , Zhou Yu's beautiful wife whom Cao Cao lusts after, heads to the enemy line with a plan of her own.
Spolier ahead:
There were 2 scenes which i liked. The first one is definitely the scene where Zhuge Liang trick Cao Cao into practically giving them 100,000 arrows with a fleet of about 20 small boats covered with hay and straw, as well as mounted with scarecrows. Cao Cao's navy, led by Cai Mao and Zhang Yun, noticed the incoming enemy fleet and decided to engage the enemy but they did not dare to venture further into the battleground for fear of falling into an ambush, as there was a thick fog over the river. Cao Cao's army fired arrows at Zhuge Liang's fleet but the arrows were stuck in the hay and straw so Cao Cao's navy lost more than a hundred thousand arrows to the enemy in that single "battle". So clever.
The other one is the "bomb-making" scene, where Zhou Yu's "assistant" Gan Xing inspected the bomb making session and was unsastified with the impact the bomb produced. He repeated requested for a bigger flame until it reaches:
okay.. i nearly laugh my head off.. lol! So demanding.. but.. so impressive quality!
Anyway, it was a great movie!
From left: PS, XT & Me... The "look" right after the show... haha
Our dinner was settled at Shokudo. And we attempted a red cliff formation... haha
The meal came up to a hefty sum of $76. So unworth it for 3 persons. The 10% service charge is ridiculous... Not much of service lor.

New Year New Stuff
Another year has passed... Just like that... A rather late entry but still, Happy 2009.
To welcome 2009, i had a new hairdo and a new phone.
Nokia E71
Great phone with great functions. The wifi, music player and full keyboard definitely enhances the phone alot. Disadvantage is the camera, 3.2 mega pixel, unable to off camera sound is a big turnoff... I hope there will be a software upgrade or sth to disable to the camera sound.
Red Highlight
It has been more than a year since my last highlight. I missed those good old days red hair.. so i decided to highlight back the bloody hot red. No disappointment. The effect was great.
More to come in the coming year!
I am off to study for my exam again. =.=
