Reality Show

Survivor, Amazing Race, Singapore Idol or even the recent Project superstar are some of the reality shows which i loved to watch. This is because it reflexs alot about the reality of the world... and people.. er, a bit Duh la... thats y is called reality show right.. hahaha

Well, yesterday night in order to do a little mugging, i chose to give up watching Project Superstar results show. But at around 12 midnight, i heard the 2 contestants that was eliminated being announced on radio. I was literally fuming. This is probably because my guess was not right!!! Ruth and WEI CHOONG were out. Damm... how could weichoong be out..! i expected Jason lo... eeeee. Well, i wasn't really like particularly support any one contestants, coz i think most of them are good... ya... except for that Jason. In comparison with the other contestants, Jason and weichoong performance on wed was not really good. Though i think jason's performances was really ugly to watch... His rendition of the Energy's Come On, was totally a turn off... yea... totally 'come on' lo... cannot make it. His score was the lowest. I wonder how come he got so many supporters... either that he can attract those people who votes for him... or his family has the $$ to vote for him so many times.... or he has the power to divert all weichoong's call voting to his ... hahahaha this is impossible la... well, jason better proved that he has this potential to earn the votes the next round... if not ar... i gonna protest liao...hahaha

In the meantime.... let's review on weichoong's previous Prince charming performance on da left... Ta Da....

haix... poor him... got eliminated... not worth it la....

Holiday = Study Week (how can that be? argh)

Today is day 3 out of my 9 days of holidays that i have before the exams starts. this is going crazy. Argh... guess i am gonna spent most of my time slacking around rather than staring at those lecture notes to absorb the information. It is now raining outside, hehehe... good time to rest...haha

Well, last night guess i really had a really nice time watching Tv. Now i know why some of my friends are fascinated with the series "CSI". haha last night from 9pm to 12am, i watched the series on AXN: CSI - Supreme Sunday. hehe which meant, i watched CSI, CSI NY and CSI Miami. 3 episodes of CSI in a row.. woAh.. i am sorta like got addicted to watching it. Actually, i like watching this genre of series.. but i am sorta like a scardy... timid... hahaha... coz after watching CSI, it gives me the creeps for at least half to one hour before i can fall asleep. hahaha. Suddenly, i thought.... i would be so cool if i could be a CSI..haha investigate on the crime... hahaha.... but... er... gotta face lotsa gross stuff... blood... rotten body... deadly looks of the corpse...

Sick of all these.

my mp3 player is not working well le... but lucky the warrenty is still valid.. hehe.. gonna call my dad to help me send for repair.. sianZz... no music for me from the mp3.

have been so sleepy these days. Gotta sleep late most of the night to fnish some reports... wanted to sleep late last night de.. but this stupid comp of mine come out with some idiotic problems again.. so solve it till so damm bloody late... today early in the morning gotta wake up early coz the pc man is gonna come and solve the networking for the other room computer.. wth sia... my house comp all so naughty... all so shitty de.. $%^&*$#^

hmm.. next week whole week is study week... which means... gotta a week to study for the upcoming common test. sianZzzZ . hate test. hate test. hate test. ARGH.

so disappointed with my own results that i got back a few days back.. i am one of the 36. one of the 36 which i don't wanna be in. seemed like everyone is improving but not me... i did put as much effort.. but the effort was not paid off... damm man... wanna scold lotsa vulgar language out loud man. argh.. *pui*

really wondering am i in the right course a not... my interest level for all this is really dropping.. i am not as interested in all these anymore... *shucks* but wth.. who cares about that right now.. i am stuck with this for at least 1 1/2 more years... gotta buck up then... EeEEEEeeeEEeEEEEeeEeEEeee

Learn from mistakes...

There's bound to be mistake and errors made during experiment, especially when i am in kinda of Life Science course, i ought to know this. but somehow this particular experiment made me unable to accept the "misfortune" that we experieced. My lab partner and i can jollywell, hug and cry together...booo...

Lets start talking about the experiment that was done last week. (pardon me if u do not really understand certain terms..) Well, this experiements requires us to make a compound. After all the synthesis and stuff. we were supposed to do a vacuum filtration and dried the compound. Now i shall juz fast forward to the vacuum filtration step: my partner and i had done the experiment considering quite fast, the first team to reach that step. so we went on to do the filtration step. As we were unsure of whether our methods and steps are correct, we asked the teacher for help. Somehow or another, the teacher willingly stood up and help us to conduct the vacuum filtration step... well u might think isn't that great... the teacher is doing it for us... it must be damm accurate and perfect one.. But U R WRONG. hor....*grown* this teacher place two filter paper in the filter funnel, on the pump and started pouring our crystals+liquid into the funnel and guess what... the filter paper broke into many holes! ok nvm about that... small mistake made... then since the filter paper broke... we added another two filter paper below it... on the pump and she started pouring.. guess wat! the filter broke again.. this time... my lab partner and i nearly fainted... As so much of our compound when into the filter flask... How are we suppose to retrieve back... argh... then when added another filter paper... yea... it tear again.. but wth... we almost filter everything already. so nvm about the pump... lousy pump, the pressure/ suction was so high...

well, my lab partner and i really looked hard at the teacher... omg... argh... along the filtration step, she said that she already knew that the pump pressure was high... then y didn't let us know or change another pump or use another method to filter... argh... damm lo... gotta use almost 5 filter paper... and the filter paper not those normal one lo, is almost twice thicker than normal... still tear... haix... well, in the end, my partner and i could do nothing but to make a pact tt we shall nv let the teacher do the filtration step for us ever again. we shall do it ourselves... even if we made mistake we shall bang each other heads... hahaha and also nv be guinea pigs to test out things ...haha in the end other groups nv had much error with the steps... coz they used more than 1 filter paper.

ok, now my partner and i really have to bang each other head, not because today we did our experiment wrongly. its because, we let history repeats itself... ARGHHHH. After making the pact that we shall nv let the teacher touch the filtration step again, this time we decided to take the vacuum filtration step into our own hands... we did the very basic steps that other lecturer had taught us... on the pump, wet the filter paper and start pouring the filtrate... everything went on smoothly... we started pouring bits of our crystals out... so happy for ourselves...

Then came the bOo Boo again... teacher came over and said.. "no, u all shld pour everthing in..." she took the flask from us and pour into the funnel.. "Pa" the filter paper BROKE!!! this time the spilage is worse. it spill out onto my hands and glove... wth!!!! ARGH , experiment ruin again. our compound from last week was quite pure. this week the same compound after re-crystallsation became impure. very impure... haix... there is nothing i can say.. simply haix...

there is no personal attacks meant to be made of that lecturer... mean no harm but... i was Juz a lil disappointed with the kind of error we made... however, what is done is done... juz have to learn from mistake tts all... haha tts wat experiment is all about.. isn't it?

-stop bugging me, u idiotic mosquito-
this mosquito have been biting me under the computer table, so irritating.. argh~ mosquito shoos shoos... hahaha

another week is gonna pass juz like tt again.. so sian... juz realise that friendster has a new addition features "Games". I went to click on it... got surprised by the no. of game they provided.. haha d/l one game "mahjong quest" juz to try out what isit like... and tt was it. i was sorta addicted.. hahaha it is a similar game to mahjong solitude.. fun.. but quite straining to the the eyes... so i am now here to blog in order to shift my attention to this rather than the game. hahahaha

hmm... imagine this... u are 18 yrs old guy. born in china... went hongkong... then came over to singapore to study for 7 yrs... then now u are at L.A. got to know a korean girl there... quite steady... and wedding is now round the corner... A bit unbelievable huh... but tt is happening to one of my sis's friend's friend...

it took me quite a while to absorb wat my sis told me that her schoolmate (the friend's friend thingy) who went over overseas to studies, is gonna married. yea... he is almost the same age as me.. er.. or even younger... is gonna married... wth.. tts way so young... well.. at first i could not believe wat i heard, but my sis showed me his profile/pictures/ testimonial on friendster... and true enough... they even had photos which everyone presumed to be Wedding Photos. i donno wats the reason behind for the marriage but what i thought is that being overseas really opens and makes u experience stuff that are much faster than here in singapore.

other than being able to married much earlier without pple thinking tt is weird (not really weird..er .. can't find a suitable word..haha), u can even start driving and own a car faster... yea.. tt guy know hows to drive already... got a car also... haix... so envy... i still have to wait 4 my bday to come b4 i can even take the v v v basic driving theory test.

well, being able to experience things faster isn't a bad idea after all. at least when u are old, u can try out other things as well... so end up u will try more things than pple...hahaha. probable in the US or other european countries u can do tt... mature and experience life faster than the rest of the world... but in singapore i tink forget it... i could hardly breath after doing a report... i wanna slp now... lolx... donno how to continue blabbering anymore...lolx... too slpy to think of any logic things to write... hahaha

*ahem* i am gonna do my voice testing again. DO RE ME FA SO, SO FA MI RE DO. yes, i am down with a sore throat again. wth. hate sore throat. er..ya who would like to be sick. haix... seems like i am not the only one who is sick right now. people around me also share similar illness. i was quite shocked when i saw this person have this nick on his msn: " F*ck la, i just sneeze out blood." (some of u might know who i am toking abt if u are observant enough to spot his nick.. tts beside the point). i thought i was bad enough to have sore throat and occassion sneeze. this guy i mention sneeze out BLOOD. omg.. i also donno how true, coz i nv went to double check with this person. oh well, if u are reading this. take care man.. go see a doc.. sneeze blood.. omg..

Slept almost the whole day today. woke up at around 11 plus.. after having my breakfast and lunch, and doing my homework.. went for a nap at 3 plus till evening... throat was much better but is still as sore and itchy. to make things even worst i have to finish all those report. argh.. MBT.. the killer report.. as always... PMT exercise tutorial was also another one.. idiotic questions given which i couldn't find any info on the internet research.. aRgh.. don't think i can survive well in this class... haix... juz so competitive and stressed... no wonder i sick...hahaha

finally i get to watch a proper show of project superstars (competition among guys). i always either miss the whole show on wed episode or miss part of it due to guitar practice that was held weekly. luckily today practice was cancel. was mesmerized by this contestant Xie wei choong. hahahaha think he always wore a suit when performing... wonder why.. haha mayb tt is why he is so charming... he got the highest tonight... *claps* yeah...
looking forward to tml show ( competition among girls) .

how "marvellous" can my weeked get?

DaMm it man.. juz when i though my hse was able to link up 2 computers to the net, the f*cking antenna of the wireless adapter broke. wth man.! the pc man already link it up and is working fine! but then after restarting the comp it cannot work anymore. then i realise the antenna BROKE of all thing... damm it. who BROKE it.. wth... argh... i can't stand all the IT stuff anymore @#$%$#@@#$#$

haix... if only i had went into an IT course instead of LifeSci~! shit!
OH cupid cupid.. pls get me a IT boyfriend... hahaha i must be thinking too much...

hmm ytd HBD test was disaterous. i tell u, i think most people including me predicted that the topic on Bones / Ossification would come out for the test. So the lazy me, of coz follow suit to study the most heavy and highly possible stuff that would come out for the test and glance through for the other stuff. BUT i totally made a fool of myself. The most easy and factual stuff came out instead and i nearly "laugh" my head off when i saw the questions. how stupid can i get man. i could not answer any of the questions lo... i could only smoke my way thru'. haix

the kinda question i expected: " list the steps to bone ossification / intramembranous ossification/how does the bone develope/ how muscles are formed..." blah blah

wat came out eventually: " list the fuction of muscle/ list the characteristic of epithelia" haix... if only i had memories all these instead of those idiotic question tt i expected. damm... can someone give me a wall... i wanna bang my head.

fantastic me huh... i can be the 5th member of the fanstastic four. hahaha

well, besides all these, the London bomb news is a big talk point now. haix... deepest condolences....
anyway, i juz read Cruz Teng's blog and he placed a link of London's video presentation that was shown at the "Results Show" IOC. i viewed it and agreed tt it was quite a cool presentation... Though i totally have no idea about wat actually happened for the IOC...

my new hobby: daydreaming

i juz simply love the moment when i am in my dad's car daydreaming juz now on my way back home. i was practically stoned there and juz let my mind "flow"/rest .. haha somehow quite relaxed. hmm... mayb i should daydream more...

never have i felt so strongly about the stress i am enduring since the sem starts, but today i can truly feel threatened by my position i am in now and the people, places and things i have to go thru'. Firstly, i could sense that everyone is so "kan cheong" about the test this friday, everyone somehow started saying how far have they revise to and how much more they left to study... hmm... haix.. i cannot blame them or say that they are at wrong. but somehow i think i should rather reflect on y am i not as "kan cheong" or nervous about the test.. how come? then came the talent time event that was held at the auditorium... prizes were given out to students who scored 1st for each module. Schoolmates/ classmates of mine bagged more than 2 modules or at least 1 module as top. but y didn't i even get one? it must have been the laziness that have been hovering around me thru'out my years... haix... think i am gonna have a mental breakdown soon.

My Really V busy week again

wHoA... finally i am sorta free after 5 days of busy schedule. let's recap on wat "interesting" stuff i have been doing these days.

Tuesday
Singapore "soon to be" famous singer, Jones Shi Kang Jun came to NYP to have a mini concert. AwWw... he was damm good. powerful voice, er.. cute? handsome? face... and simply wOw.. hahaha. he can really sing v well... hmm... well, think we are damm lucky. as we were able to take a photo with him... haha. but i think he doesn't really look nice on camera (er... at least in our cam.. donno y) well... juz look at the photo below.

hmm... he look handsome/cool on professional camera.. am i right... weird...


Wednesday
hmm... juz simply so busy with guitar practice and stuff till 10 plus at night... haix... and there is juz still so many reports yet to be done.

Thursday
skip a lecture from 5-6pm... that is also the only lecture for the whole day... so i might as well don't go... waste my 2+hrs trip to only attend a 1 hr lecture. that is not the main reason for skipping the lecture though. coz the next day, which is friday, we have got a test to sit for... plus i have tonnes of report that i have not touch on... thus decided to "camp" at home to rush those stupid reports and test that is making my brain go haywire.

Friday
test was absolutely hard. probably because i did not prepare myself enough. haix... so disappointed with myself... there goes my grade again. after the test, went out with my poly classmates to celebrate Andrew's bday. it took us almost 2 hrs to decide on wat to eat and do for the celebration. we ended up going to Seoul Garden at Taka to feast... hahaha.... well the food was nice... but i simply juz got so tired and bored halfway... so i was stoning alot there... hahaha haix...
my day doesn't juz end there. at around 6 plus, went to meet with my previous sec's schoolmate to celebrate Candy's Bday... haha yes, yet another celebration. went to eat at ajisan. i was juz too full for another meal after that seoul garden feast... haha so juz order some side dishes. haix... i am gonna grow fat soon again.
then we went to watch INITIAL D~!!! (the movie i have long to watch) One word for this movie: Cool. i can suddenly feel that Jay look so handsome in his AE86... hahaha not forgetting Edison and Shawn.. hahaha pple, u all really should go watch tt movie. This movie even makes me more anxious to get my driving license too (but argh i am only 17+!)
got home only at 1.30am in the morning, after all the activities...haix so late...and tired... coz i walk home all the way from esplanade lo... My best exercising record~!
