Well, well, Chinese new year was rather plain for me this year, other than the two house visiting i went today. As a matter of fact, i went to watch I Not Stupid Too yesterday. muhahah yes... Two movies in a row during the festive season: Memoir of geisha & I Not Stupid Too. A nice movie for the whole family, quite touching for a few scenes in that movie though. =D

I wonder how will i spent my CNY tml... but who cares...hahaha.... Cheers people.

Memoirs Of A Geisha

What could have been a better way to celebrate the eve of the eve of lunar new year, by watch Zhang ZiYi donning her kimono stepping to the road to being a geisha, with a group of friends?

Memoirs of a Geisha
A great movie i should say. I would give this movie a rating of 8/10. Given the fact that they have a very strong casts, a good plot as well as good acting skills by the 3 Asian women who have made their name big in Hollywood. However, the slightly-draggy movie and the abrupt ending were the reasons for the 2 marks that they lost in my rating...hahaha. A 2hour and 15 mins movie was truely long, but it has change my impression of what i think a Geisha when i was younger. I used to think that geisha are crazy people with weird make-up (whitey face...haha) and wear a kimono. As a matter of fact, this movie has actually made me wanted to even buy the novel to know more details, that's so unlike me. Never would i want to read a novel where i could watch a movie for it. hahaha Anyway, i shan't say more about this movie. You should just go and watch it. It's worthwhile i think. Really.

So So So. Lunar New Year is coming. Yes is coming very soon~~~ yeahhh~~

Sick Sick~ headache

Why am i sick during the CNY period... huh? It happened last year, now it is coming again. F*CK. sry, i can't help it but to mention tt word. I want to eat bak kua leh... pineapple tarts. Sore throat how to eat? arghh~~!!!

A failure that led to tears. Never would i want this to happen again. Never.

NYP Openhouse

NYP openhouse from 19-21 January 2006, which is today till saturday. So, i was freaking assigned to do some carpark/teacher's lounge duty.

Let me explain to you what my duty is: secondary school buses stop at the carpark, students and teacher alighted. Then i have to ask the sec sch teacher: " Hi, Would u like to take a rest at the teacher's lounge or follow your students in the tour." So if the teacher wanna take a rest, i have to lead her/him to the lounge. Then freaking make my way back to that idiotic carpark... So at first it started with 4 of us, then slowly, the in-charge said there is a lack of people in the guiding of the tour, slowly, all my friends were pulled over to help the in the tour. Eventually, i was left alone to do the dirty job. SiAn~ Duty from 1pm to almost 5 plus~!!! There was like 47 buses that alighted at the carpark. If you will to do some simple calculations: if one bus has approxiamately 40 students, that will total up to about 1600 people~~!!! And that is for like 1 carpark! There are about 4 carparks... so... i need not say the rest. wOooOoo. freaky open house.

Mentally and physically drained. Well, but i had a good meal with some of my classmates after that at Hougang to make up for the tired day.

Record Breaking: 7 failed emulsion in 2 hours

My day started with an amazing fact that my mp3 works again. Yeah~ so there's entertainment for me during my long journey to school.

Then my record breaking moment came. The practical test nearly made the muscles in my arm tear, and i broke my life-records.

Others took 1 try to success. I took 7 try to success. Look at the difference~!!! I was so saddened. Really thank those who have helped me in one way or another. Especially Ms Ang who encouraged and helped me to wash the apparatus as i was really rushing against time. Though it was a practical test, it wasn't as strict as i though it would be. If it was, i would be so dead by now. Losing more than 10 marks for the test. Sigh.

Emulsion ah Emulsion ah. Never even mention or make me do one again. I would probably just puke blood right in front of your face or i just slam the mortar right at your face as well.

My hands are aching now. Emulsion making after-effect.

Festive season

Recently, i wouldn't want to go to bed until my eyes couldn't open. I would simply just sit at the computer and do whatever can be done with my computer until i am dead beat.

Is this a sign of me preparing for chinese new year eve, whereby children stay awake till after midnight or as long as they can be; in order to wish their parents for longer life. Muhahaha. Yes Yes. That must be it. I can't wait for chinese new year to come now. heehee~ Not that i am hoping for more AngBao or whatever, in fact i get fewer each year, so nothing to be excited about, it's just that holiday mood that i want to be in.

Talking about chinese new year, i just drop by ChinaTown this morning with my mum early this morning. haha ok, i know is a wrong time to be there,but who care. lolx... the usual things were sold there, need i say more? Well well, come chinese new year come.

Can someone just explain to me why after having a screwed week with the common test, my mp3 is also screw me up? WHY WHY WHY

My freaking mp3 just failed on me again! ok, does that means that even my mp3 is so obedient to comply with the stringent rules that the government going to emphasis? ARGH

Well, i guess i am going to wonder my eyes around the MRT or simply just dig out my OBIANG discman to keep my time occupy during my journey to school.

Rainy days

It's another rainy day. In fact it has been raining for the past few day; yesterday probably being the highest amount of rain collected. It was raining since morning till even late night. woOo.. seriously a good time to sleep like a dog. But haix... with the common test dampening the mood, how could ever i get some good sleep during rainy days?

The stress is here again

Day 3 or 4 or even towards the Day 5 of the new year, nothing comes in the way that put a smile on my face. All the things that come by, are such a turn off and disappointment.

I gonna be driven crazy by this lecturer of our class. He seriously caused me to nearly strangled him right in front of the whole class; (I control it, but screamed like mad in front of everyone; my class must have thought i suddenly gone mad). This lecturer also caused me to doze off nearly every lecture he teach. Goodness. Sigh... Someone just save me out of the madness pot.

Common test is coming in like less than 3 days. And i must have been out of my mind to have not even started revision. Right, i am definitely not joking. Not only the concentration was not there, the mood, the piles of notes and many many other factors made me turn off at the thought of revision.

Now i am gonna switch. Yes brain and eyes switch off... Sleep!~

Fireworks was nice just now, although it was watched from TV not live.

Well, Let's forget about the unhappy memories from the past, remember the happy memories from the past, and wish for the best in the future days, months, years, decades and centuries. A new year ahead and a brand new start.

Any wishes, aspiration or even dreams that wanna fufil? Well, i do have... but i shan't say it out here. muhahah
