Toilet experience
Went out with some of my ex-pri sch mates today to have dinner and some shopping. And throughout the trip, i have a thoughts/sight which i ought to mention.
Toilet: To protect the reputation of the toilet.. the place shall not be mention
My friend and i was waiting to get into a toilet to release .. haha ok thats not the point. We were queueing in a row to wait for an available cubical to get into. We were the 2nd and 3rd person to be in the queue, so theoratically it would be our turn in just a minutes or even better a few seconds. The reason for me saying this because there were 6 cubicals in the toilet.So after standing for about 1 minute, my friend started to grumble a lil' saying why there is no movement in the queue as she was in a high tide mode.. lolx.. ok thats also beside the point. Then finally about 2 or more minutes, we heard a flush, aww we thought finally there is someone coming out.. yea.. but right there is still no signs of any of the 6 cubicals opening the door. 6.. did i got your attention 6!!! 6 cubicals and all 6 people in them took a hell lot of time in the toilet. And when finally, my friend got into a toilet, i stood at the front of the row. And continue to wait. sigh... can u imagine.. even describing this scene took a hell load of paragraph. My friend didn't even spend more than 1 minutes in the toilet, of the 5 cubicals that i pray would open .. none did. Then finally it came to my turn, it was the cubical that my friend into... sigh...
My conclusion:
1. There are only 2 functioning cubicles. All the other 4 are locked.
2. Most Singapore girls spent quite some time in the toilet.. hahaha
3. There must be a stall that sell dirty food, and everyone went to shit at the same time. hahaha

Rain Rain go away
wOooO. The rain just now was fantastic.
Should i call it a rainstorm.. thunderstorm.. windstorm.. or just a simple storm?
The rain was heavy just now. Thunder and lighting were accompanied with the rain. What was the most shocking thing was the wind. The wind was so strong, that if you weigh lighter than 40 kg, you will definitely be blown away. The wind was blowing so strong that the rain droplets fall was almost at a bearing of 270 degree. The trees was slanted. Everything was in a mess. Scary...
In a moment of frantic, i took a picture of the tree during the storm

After the rain which lasted almost an hour... i took another picture of the tree again...
Now... it looks more normal... phew

Sudden onset = Flu Virus
i am so dead. the flu virus has caught me again. how dare the flu virus caught me.
Just a sneeze and all it came. nose block. nose run. throat irritated. Just a sneeze. that's all it take.

Am i this suay today?
Think i have mention this a few times in my blog already. I think my guitar is cursed. The moment i carry my guitar out of the house, the weather will turn bad!!!
So today, meet up with the girls. We went out for some shopping and register for Basic theory test (the main purpose for our meet up). haha. Anyway, we went walk around bugis and orchard before heading down to yio chu kang area to the driving center. Well, so by the time we reached there, the rain has already started. So having the lazy and 'tai-tai' mind set, we took a taxi into the place.The weather and place was so damm freezing cold that both kat and i toes turn greyish purplish blue; as if we are zombies-wannabes.
LostAfter biding goodbye with the girls at the entrance of the driving center. I gei kiang, thinking that i know how to walk my way from the driving center to block E of NYP. I thought it was just a few distances away only. Hence i braved my way into the rain as i didn't brought my umbrella out. After walking along the pavement out to a junction, i was stunned. I lifted my head up and looked at the surrounding, I could not see NYP building any way around. So i made a 'clever' decision to turn left and continue walking. In horror, that road came to a road which leads to other places. Then sadly, i U-turned and walk back. This time turning to my right at the junction. I walked a distance which felt like years.
It reach another junction, i was yet again stunned. I lifted my head up and looked at the surrounding, I could not see NYP building any way around. My heart this time was pounding like nobody business. I told myself, shit, i am lost, seriously lost. So again i made a decision, again, i turned to the 'potential' direction and continue making my way. I was so scared and afraid. I was almost soaking in the rain, my slippers become slippery and i am still lunging on to my huge guitar. I am definitely damm haggard. I was also on the verge of giving up, thus i stretched my hand out and decide to halt a taxi to get me to NYP. Thank god, a taxi was available.
So i poped my head into the taxi and said: " Uncle, i wanna go to Nanyang Poly." This uncle gave me this wth look. He replied,"is only down the corner, turn right at that junction, then turn left, it is right there." So i was like replied, "really? isit very near?"
The uncle said yes. And so, i got my head out of the taxi, slammed the door and continue walking. How stupid i was, should have just demanded the uncle to get me there. So i dragged my feet to NYP, praying hard along the way. Upon reaching the NYP gate, NYP building seemed so holy! Man, it was like " OMG, i am finally here!"
It tooked me almost half an hour to get me from driving center to nyp. Hell, it was hell. I was seriously lost for the first time (for i rmb) in an industrial park. ARGH. Thus, by the time i was at block E, i looked as if i had just showered with my clothes on. It was so embarressing with my guitar mates looking at me. I chiong to the toilet to tidy up myself, only to find out that, THE DRYER WAS OUT OF ORDER. Even the disable cubicle dryer was not in use. SIGH SIGH SIGH. What more can i say.
Suay man. Was that an indication or something.

Wealth Vs Happiness
Recently my mum asked me this question which she heard from radio.
Question: If you were with your spouse, would u choose that you and ur So:
A) have Happiness, but poor
B) no Happiness, but rich
My answer to mum: A
I guess that's what most people answer, from what i heard my mum said when she heard the radio.
I guess that's what people think is true love, love that come from the heart or whatsoever. The kind of love, whereby even both of you are living in a hut, plant fruits, rear chickens, rear rabbits and live happily ever after.
However, a friend of mine ask me this again recently a similar question while asking about my love life. Well, my love life is bad. Not because i had one that was a failure but there wasn't even one to start with.
Question from my friend: Would you marry a guy who is poor?
I ended up giving an uncool answer. Everyone certainly wants the best of everything. A rich husband which can give you happiness. But reality always doesn't exist this way. I think my answer already minus some points away from my friend's impression of me. sigh. But i think a guy should at least have an average wealth. Not too poor. Because i don't wanna suffer. This world is definitely materialistic.
However i still believe that love can really resolve all these. Hence even if the guy is poor, if i really love him that much, i might just forgo everything.. lolx..
Hmm.. how come i seemed to be talking a lil` about my expectation of my prince.. haha whatever it is... I must be thinking too much. Holiday is driving me a lil` mad... muhahah
ArgH... My ear is itching me very badly, pain also accompanied once in a while. My right ear, the lope portion where my pierce that i have for more than 10 years is like having a infection. I am not quite sure is it an infection, a bite, a rash.. or whatever. The pierced hole is a lil' swollen. Its itchy, is painful and is irritating. Whatever it is.. i have remove my earring and hope it will just heal in a day or two after applying some lotion. No fanciful earring for now at least.
There is approximately 20 days to another semester. I am not looking forward to it like some others who do. One very obvious reason is because of the heavy and many modules that i have to take. 7 modules. That is no joke.
Had some random thoughts recently, and suddenly i realise that i might regret not going to a jc. Simply because if nothing goes wrong, i would have graduated in another 1 or 2 months if i had went to a jc. whilst now in a poly i still have 1 1/2 year to survive. Given now the fact that i am in such a class.. i have more to suffer. sigh.
Nevertheless, there is something i am looking forward to now. Driving! yes. I hope everything go on well, and i am able to take the basic theory test and move on from there. Eventually driving a car. muhahaha... maybe i should start doing some research on cars, when i have the time now.

Laziness sat in
'Kiasu'ism really exist in singapore. About 3 more weeks to enjoy the holiday, or rather i should say that is only 1-2 weeks since the start of the holiday, people already started studying or preparing for the next semester modules. Can you believe this? I can't. From what i heard, all the reference books related in the school library is all gone. ALL. all of them is gone. Sigh.
Mundane life leading to a very mundane blog here. Nothing much to update. Nothing much to talk about. Friends of mine either disappear into thin air or busy with their own stuff when i needed some chatting or company to past my time.
I am conducting my own marathon.
TV Marathon and
Game Marathon. Have been watching so much so much tv these day to past my time that my eyes almost rot. GB is the only better game that my computer can withstand. Game till my hands rot. What a marathon.

Project Runway
I was in school for almost the whole day today. From 1pm to almost late 10pm. Went school for guitar stuff though.
At 2pm, the whole of guitar club went to watch the special premiere of the upcoming reality show that will soon be telecast on channel 5. PROJECT RUNWAY. This reality has already telecast its first season in the states already and is telecasting its season 2. How late it was for singapore to only telecast it now. Well, Project Runway is a reality show that focus on finding a fashion designer. 12 contestants who dreams-to-be a fashion designer will participate week to week in design competition. And only 1 winner will wins $100,000 in seed money too help them launch their own line and other attractive offers.

Well personally, i find this reality show quite a nice one. It really got my attention and probably might get me addicted... hahaha How could NYP caused me to get addicted into this show... goodness. Project Runway though having similar concept to other popular reality shows like apprentice, survivor etc. It has brought us to look at the different side of the world: Fashion Industry. And also... you get to see models..haha pretty models to bring out the designer's design... hahaha, host Heidi Klum is also a top supermodel.. muhahaha opps..lolx
Ok... whatever.. how come i seemed to be advertising this show... haha
A tired day after all this activity: Project Runway premiere, guitar meeting, guitar practice.. and other small issue..

#2: I am a TV freak. I basically like watching tv programms that my mum said when i was young (baby), my head would automatically turns towards the TV when she was feeding me with milk.. hahaha

Guitar Is part of my life now?
Made a blunder today. I thought today was the guitar meeting and stupidly went to school at 4.00pm. Then i realise that it was next week instead. But thank god there was another friend there to accompany me as she was there to do some stuff.
I guess i put in lotsa effort today in practising the piece "tea for two". It was probably because i was the only girl in the group while learning the piece, so in order not to embarrass myself i placed all my concentration in it. Sigh, so end up i am having a backache and finger-ache. Really wonder why others so talented in guitar can master many pieces at such tremendous rate. Whatever it is... i shall just put in my best effort bah..
Mummy was practising how to make chicken chop and black pepper grilled fish, so i got to taste it after i came home from my guitar practice. The food was yummy. delicious. hehehe BUT BUT, i am gonna grow fat soon. Had a chicken chop, grilled fish and coleslaw for supper~ + soup. aHhhH... sigh
gotta catch some slp soon, tml gonna wake up early to meet up with some poly friends.. heeehee

Perfectionist
Virgo being a perfectionist, always wants the best and perfect for everything. I guess this is the reason for me being fussy, 'uncomplacent' and unsatisfied with the template/format of my blog. Avid readers of my blog would have realised that i have changed numerous number of blogskin since its launched. I have tried all kinds of blogskins, all kinds of colours, all kinds of format and all kinds of many weird stuff, hoping that it will enhances and beautify my blog. However, i guess many is not up to my expectation or not what i have in mind. With the limited knowledge of HTML codes, there are also limited things i can do with this blog. Now from the previous few complicated blogskins, i have yet again changed it to a simple template. sigh.
I have just collected my phone from sony ericsson's service center early this afternoon. Now my phone is as good as new, as the technicians have upgraded the software and replaced the faulty joystick. I hope it can last another one more year before i can pester my dad again to upgrade my phone plan and most importantly, change a new handphone.. muhahaha
I wonder whether am i a spoilt brat? I think i am. sigh. Friends around me have got a job to occupy their holiday. For me, i have no intention yet to find a job. One very obvious reason: lazy. Ya Ya Ya, it really exist in my genes, i can't help it... lolx.. okok my excuses.
Is it only me or everyone online? Blogspot seemed to be having some errors? The format to create a new posting is in a weird manner... Disorientated.. it has been a few days already.. quite irritating.. sigh
It must have been that classmate. Now my dictionary has a new word: Sigh. Have been using a lot when i was playing game.. hahaha... 'Sigh', this word is contagious. lolx.
