Kung Fu Hustle

muhaha~! today, i had a great laugh at the movie theatre. all thanks to the movie "Kung Fu Hustle" haha...also not forgetting YM's company. The 1 hr and 35 mins movie was set in Shanghai in the '30s, times are dangerous and gangs rule the streets. The most notorious of these, the Axes, strike fear into the hearts of honest citizens and inspire admiration in one young wannabe. One day, in a slum on the outskirts of town, he wreaks havoc when he recklessly poses as an Axe member and causes a veritable riot between the real gang members and the denizens of a housing project who just so happen to be strangely well versed in the art of kung fu. hmm... if you had catch this movie, u might/would have agree that this is one of the movie that one shld catch to end the 2004. i think this movie is also a good way to relieve stress after a good laugh... wahaha~ i LOVE this movie "Kung Fu Hustle"~~~!!!

man~ i think my dad used the computer in the study room today!!! ARGH~ donno wat he did... now my desktop suddenly appear 7 advertisement type icons!! and i cannot delete it!! ARH... gotta now do sth abt it!

Touching story..aWwW

saw this story posted on Friendster's bulletin board... found it quite touching...haha take a look~!


From the very Begining, the girl's family objected strongly on her dating this guy. Saying that it has got to do with family background,& that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him. Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Though the girl love the guy deeply,but she always ask him: "How deep is your love for me?"As the guy is not good with his words, this often cause the girl to be very upset. With that & the family's pressure, the girl often vent her anger on him. As for him, he only endure it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies in overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: "I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?"The girl agreed, & with the guy'sdetermination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he leave,they got engaged.

The girl went out to the working society,whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it's hard, but both never thought of giving up.One day, while the girl was on her way towork, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realised that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She has lost her voice......The doctors says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital, besides silence cry,.....it's still just silence cry that companied her.

Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of thephone.Which pierced into her heart everytime it rang.She does not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply,and countless of phone calls,.. all the girl could do,besides crying, is still crying....The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy.With a new environment, the girl learn sign language & started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy.

One day,her friend came & told her that he's back.She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news of him.A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy's wedding. The girl was shattered. When she open the letter, she saw her name in it instead.When she was about to ask her friend what's going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her. He used sign language telling her "I've spent a year's time to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You.With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger.The girl finally smiled.

Merry christmas

hhehe thankfully that today christmas dinner was better than yesterday. had CRABS today...yummy! tts my favourite dish, black pepper crab!!! oh ya.... and had a taste of wine. dad open a 1995 Chateur Malescasse ( if i nv spell wrong, anyway so profound). OoO wine taste ....er horrible?!?! i didn't really like the taste of it. tummy was churning a little after having one small small little cup. uRgh~
thanks those who had given me a gift for christmas...haha love them ... (^.^)b

wAt aN uNfOrGeTaBle ChrIsTmAs Eve

muhaha....hohoho MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE everyone. today is christmas eve, however i had spent it in a boring way. there was not any plan, no family outing, no good food and no decorations. dinner today was simple. it was fried rice with veg, chicken and mushroom. haix...how delicous. haha ~

On the other hand, i had a unforgetable event that happen. let me now tell u how is goes. well, it was 5 pm in the afternoon, mum drag me along to "Shop & Save" supermarket to buy some groceries. on our way back, we pass by one of house along the row of houses that located along the streets from my home. that house had a dog & this dog had given birth to puppies!!! oh...now cute. so i thot, hey lets take some pics of them with my new hp. oh but unfortunatly, most of the puppies were sleeping, hence i was having a hard time taking pic. then, a little girl came out of the house to see wat are we doing. she was so kind to carry all the dogs that was sleeping out, so i can take pics. suddenly, the door close. tts it! she was lock outside her home. she had no key, no parents at home ( all work).... then mum & i start to panick! well, this girl came from china, she is 11 yrs old. haix...after some panicking and worring. we manage to contact the girl's mum. well her mum called her to go find her aunt who was working nearby. so we accompany her along. thankfully she found her aunt and was safely brought home.... whoo...
tt's all folk...my story finish...
how was it? was it nerve racking and scary...haha jkjk...i doubt i said it tt exciting...haha tt was my christmas eve...haha now gonna watch tv liao~!

i realise that i still cannot get into the sch mood... i am still at holiday mood.. like now! its already 11 plus, i am suppose to sleep, but i am still here online chatting, blogging, playing games...simply wasting my time...hahaha! how ever i am still gonna defend myself here. haha...coz tml lesson starts at 1 pm ... lolx tts means i can wake up later.

anyway, today had a really suffering lecture. that lecturer name...er dr.lim i think, she teaches us organic chem this semester. omg, her lecture was smooth, so smooth that it is so fast. my brain cannot generate as fast as she teaches. before i can write down one pt that she pointed out, she is explaining another pt, and before i can rmb that pt, her next pt comes again! haix...so fast...how to learn... anyway, cannot blame her la... i thinks she teaches quite well. blame on the fact that i am too sleepy during lecture that i am half awake and half dead during the first half of the lecture... i was simply juz too slpy. only until the fact that i don understand wat she toking tt i start to wake myself up and struggle till the lecture end.

i was slpy and dry today. i am so slpy thru' out the day. hmm ...for donno wat reason, my lips feel very very dry today... drank so much water but is still dry... very dry ar... lips cracking soon... must be the cold weather faults...

haha pardon me...i am complaining abt so many things today...hehee

2nd semester, DAy 1 at sch

today is the first day of the new second semester in poly. wasn't as exciting as i thot it would be. stayed at the SAME particular lecture theatre for almost~ 4 hours! though there were little breaks here and there, i am freezing cold inside the lecture theatre. haha... SY bought us some gift from hongkong when she went there during the holidays...haha sy, thanks 4 the gift. well, she bought a handphone acessories ( is a pouch like thingy for couple, it comes in pair) haha actually a little not suitable for me...coz i no boyfriend...who to give the other pouch to? :( . she also bought a small glass piggy...haha...so cute.. i chose the orange piggy coz i was wearing orange to sch today. lastly she also treat us drinks...haha...yes...she bought us VITA brands chocolate milk...haha. haven't drink it...hehee..
hmm realise that i am having leg cramps more often these days... friend said is because my blood circulation no good... hmm... mayb is because of the position i sit...tend to cross my leg or watever...haix.. leg cramps are hurting...

miss my NOKIA 2100

hahaha.... love my K508i, but still miss my nokia 2100... donno y also...jus feel that something is missing. hehe, crazy me.. hmm.. now with my new hp i can take pics, video, online, placed coloured wallpaper....lolx...many many things tt i can do with it that i can't do before!!!! yea!!! haha better not brag too much ...lolx... hmm but now i am a little worried and trouble with this phone.
firstly, i have yet to buy the cable tt can link my phone to computer. the singtel salesperson told me is abt $60!!! crazy~ how come so expensive (think i must go sony ericsson shop to enquiry)
secondly, this phone is only sold exclusively to singtel customers, tt means M1 and starhub don sell it~ omg, i only knew abt this information when i went back to the shop the next day to return my old charger. now i am worried it is not user-friendly or rather not as recognise worldwide...lolx...Actually i wanted a k500i, but it was sold out, so tt salesperson got me this phone and told me is the same juz that the structure of the keypad is different. haix...now currently i am not able to download ringtone and wallpaper from those newpaper advestiment, though is not as important actually.

haix, tomorrow...tomorrow...tomorrow...yes...tomorrow is the start of the new semester...scary... think the whole semester gonna sux... coz there are longer breaks...long practical periods...longer lecture periods and harder modules i guess... i miss my holiday...pls come back to me...lolx~

Happy Birthday Sister

haha.. today is my sister's 15th birthday. well, my dad bought her a new hp ...er...nokia 7260 i think. hehehe... and so...i also benefitted a new hp...muhahahahahahahahahaha. All thanks to my sis, dad and mom. Love my new sony ericsson k508i. hmm we went to bugis singtel to sign up a new line in order to buy the phone at a cheaper price. well shall tok more abt my phone when i get a feel of it tml...coz now is "eating up my electric" (lolx, ok trying to be lame here, hp is charging actually)

hmm the new semester is starting soon.. in another...3 days times i have to go to sch again everyday. haix, miss the holiday!!! i want to continue to slack ard at home. wake up only at 11 am in the morning. i still want to catch my tv programm. i still wanna play computer game.... hmm, when the semester start i will have to give up all of these~ boo~! tml might be going to nyp to purchase my new txtbooks...haix

yea~ i got to see 56

yea hurray~! i finally got to see 3 of 5566 members which includes Tony, Zax & Sam!!!
today went to 56 calender autograph session at bishan j8 with yuen and LM. hmm... it was tiring but fun~ lolx...we, or rather, i queue abt 2hrs. Man~ though is long wait, its' worth it la...hehehe. the only regret was that 56 Jason was not there.... :( (he had appendix i guess and had to rest after operation) so there goes my chance of seeing him....
Seeing the idols was a whole new experience. the excitment, the perspiration, the wait, the queue and the screams were all that makes the whole event a fun thing. hmm, getting on stage to get a up close look of them was ...a....MIRACLE...haha...(mayb is too crazy using this word, but nvm). mayb i was too excited or wat, i was tongue-tied and didn't manage to speak a word to them, haix...
I WANT TO SEE 5566 AGAIN~~~~~~ ( hehe, i am very greedy ar..lolx)

spot the singapore idol finalist

hey, guess wat, today, my mum, sis and i spotted LEANDRA. yea...tts her.. the singapore idol top 5 finalist. we saw her at plaza singapura KFC. she was with her friend (the one tt often appear on tv) hmm.. she was quite friendly, saw her waving to some fans when they saw her as well. Leandra even took the trouble to stop her meal and walk out of kfc to take photo with the fans. i was standing in the queue beside her while i was buying my bandito meal...lolx. haix...too bad i don't have a dig. cam or even a hp which can take pictures...or else can take pic of her.. wasted~! haix...i still failed to convince my parents to buy my sis and i a new hp.
hmm mum bought a new steam iron as the dry iron at home spoil. then we shop around plaza singapura. i bought a Samuel and Kevin bermudas....for...NEW YEAR~ haha...isn't it too early ... well, better be early than late.

day out with pri sch friends

hehee here to update abt today outing with a group of my long-time-no-see pri sch friends... haha to prevent me from leaving out someone's name while listing, i better not name them out...(ya know who u r can liao...lolx) well, day started off when we went party world ktv to sing.. woo~ i realised tt there are really singers among these pple.. take for eg roy.. wah...my jaw nearly drop when i heard him sing jay chou's song... really sound so alike.. -claps- hahaha... well then later when for a little shop around orchard. we headed down to lucky plaza to have Pizza at pizza hut for dinner. As some thot was quite early after dinner, we went to coffeehouse to have some drinks and chat. lolx...i think today my tummy was quite full, not because i ate alot but rather i had a lot of drinks!!! man~ first it was a cup of ice honey lime at ktv, then a cup of pepsi at Pizza hut, a cup of ice mocha and ice water at coffehouse ...wOO 4 glasses...
hmm...overall today outing was quite fun... lolx...really gonna miss those pple...hahaha.... take care my friends, hope to see ya all soon!

wOoO~ 56 is in town

yea...5566 is gonna be in town this weekend. they are here got their jungiery stars' concert on the 11 dec. but too bad, i have got no $$ to buy the tix, so i am gonna give that i miss. on sun, they are having a autograph session at bishan J8. they are going to sign their calender 2005. hmm, still considering whether to go. later in the evening on sun at 7pm they are going to appear at channel 8 stars award. they are the guest star for the event. wOoO~
today i went to collect my new specs.. its black in colour..lolx..hope i look nice in it..
anyway today one idiotic grasshopper came hopping into my house...man~ i found it on the wall of my study room...so after some "screaming" and "excitement". my sis decided to catch it... actually i want to kill it de...but my sis say cannot kill...haix...so we catch it and put it in a tank. haha...i know is bad to do that la...but no choice.... so now this grasshopper is our new pet (pest i guess...haha) lolx~
well, tml got an outing with my pri sch mates. hmm, should be fun i guess... :P

new template

yea... finally found a new template that i found it quite cool on the web. i think is quite nice..compared to the previous 5566 one...very white or rather pure...lolx. Well, give some comments on this template..
hmm, these few days have been quite boring. have been at home for almost 4 days already...ARGH~ wake up at almost 12 in the afternoon everyday and had lunch then watch tv, get online then slack around. the worst thing is that my comp is in its' crazy mode again...so slow and lagging. this makes me not able to play gunbound...argh... i want a new computer!!!!!!!!!! Tired week

Man...i have not been updating my blog for about more than a week...well was quite busy this week with proj and stuff... well today Amelia, kat and i went to the zoo, night safari, jurong bird park, repile park, chinese grd, science center and bukit timah nature reserve..... ok this sounds crazy isn't it.. today is all abt travelling travelling and travelling...we went up the bus, down the bus, up the mrt, down the mrt...hahaha ok i am crazy... enough of that...i might juz flood this if i continue....lolx
well, the singapore idol is over.. hmm... i realise that thursday and friday night wasn't that .....exciting ...yea tt should be the word..well, after taufix was crowned the first singapore idol on wed.. there seem to be nothing interesting on the tv...hahaha
hmm actually my mum was quite disappointed that sylvester didn't won... or rather i was not surprised that taufix won.. however, i wasn't quite impressed by taufix's performances that night, other than that song, me and mrs jones, other songs that he sang wasn't tt nice... on the other hand, i like sly's performances tt night ...too bad...he got fewer votes... but ok...both of them got into the final 2, that proves something..they are both good and they will cut an album soon. It is a win win situation after all... muhahaha
