Wealth Vs Happiness

Recently my mum asked me this question which she heard from radio.

Question: If you were with your spouse, would u choose that you and ur So:

A) have Happiness, but poor
B) no Happiness, but rich

My answer to mum: A
I guess that's what most people answer, from what i heard my mum said when she heard the radio.
I guess that's what people think is true love, love that come from the heart or whatsoever. The kind of love, whereby even both of you are living in a hut, plant fruits, rear chickens, rear rabbits and live happily ever after.

However, a friend of mine ask me this again recently a similar question while asking about my love life. Well, my love life is bad. Not because i had one that was a failure but there wasn't even one to start with.

Question from my friend: Would you marry a guy who is poor?

I ended up giving an uncool answer. Everyone certainly wants the best of everything. A rich husband which can give you happiness. But reality always doesn't exist this way. I think my answer already minus some points away from my friend's impression of me. sigh. But i think a guy should at least have an average wealth. Not too poor. Because i don't wanna suffer. This world is definitely materialistic.

However i still believe that love can really resolve all these. Hence even if the guy is poor, if i really love him that much, i might just forgo everything.. lolx..

Hmm.. how come i seemed to be talking a lil` about my expectation of my prince.. haha whatever it is... I must be thinking too much. Holiday is driving me a lil` mad... muhahah
